Meditation Demystified is intended to help one either begin to meditate or for experienced mediators to discover other ways to enhance their meditation practice. It is also a workbook with exercises to facilitate learning to meditate.
The first few chapters of this book introduce the concept and importance of meditation followed by meditation techniques grouped by element and describes in detail different meditation as well as when and how to use them. The last chapters are for additional information on spiritual development and personal practices. The appendices contain both a list of books that have been influential in my life as well as web sites on the Internet that contain information of note. Some of the sites are now gone but I leave them in the bibliography for posterity.
